- Prepare the bread
Spread a generous layer of butter or mayonnaise on one side of each slice.
- Assemble the sandwich
Place the cheese evenly on one slice, then top with the second slice, buttered side facing outward.
- Preheat the air fryer
Set to 190°C and preheat for about 3 minutes.
- Cook
Place the sandwich in the air fryer basket (avoid overcrowding).
Cook for 5 minutes, then flip.
- Finish cooking
Cook for another 3–5 minutes, until both sides are golden brown and crispy.
Total time: about 8–10 minutes.
- Rest & serve
Let the sandwich rest for 1 minute before cutting—this helps keep the melted cheese inside.
